The year 2025 was a big year for Common Good staff—we welcomed seven new staff members and added four new roles! Find out more about each of them below.

Say hello to Colin! For the past ten years, Colin has been working with youth. Most recently he was on staff at Camp Loucon before joining Common Good as our Youth Program Coordinator in August 2025. He is committed to connecting with and celebrating our students in ways that make them feel valued and empowered to grow into who they want to be.
Outside of Common Good, Colin likes to spend his time playing board games, watching football, and woodworking.

Meet Lindsay! Lindsay joined our staff in August of 2025 as our Elementary Program Coordinator and comes to us with nearly 20 years of experience working with students and families of all ages. She brings a deep commitment to building strong families and fostering thriving students in warm and inclusive environments and is proud to be part of a team that provides a safe, authentic space for the community to grow and reach its fullest potential.
Lindsay enjoys hiking, kayaking, gardening and social sports—especially soccer. When working with our students, she is passionate about project-based, hands-on activities that create room for exploration and creativity.

Welcome Izamar! She joined Common Good staff in June 2025 as our Assistant Elementary Program Coordinator. Izamar approaches every day with a positive mindset, drawing on her three years as a Common Good Mentor and five years working in a classroom setting to build meaningful relationships with our students and create a safe space for everyone to be themselves.
When she's not at Common Good, Izamar enjoys reading and taking care of her plants. You can also find her trying out local coffee shops, going on walks, and watching the sunrise.

Say hello to Jacqui! She joined Common Good staff in August 2025 as our Executive Assistant and the Lead Mentor in our 2nd/3rd Classroom. Having previously mentored at Common Good, we're excited to have her back as a part of our Common Good family. Jacqui fosters intentional community both inside and outside the classroom. She brings diverse experience to her work with Matchstick Goods, our Development Office, and her 2nd/3rd classroom. Jacqui pours time and love into our students, supports our families, and invests in our neighborhood, ensuring a true sense of belonging.
In her free time, Jacqui enjoys journaling, walking around our neighborhood, and catching up on the latest comedy or drama series.

Meet Jamie! Jamie has been with Common Good since the beginning as a mentor, but she joined staff in August 2025 as the Lead Mentor for our K/1st Classroom. She creates a warm and family-like environment in her classroom. Jamie is passionate about reading aloud to students of all ages, and she said being the lead mentor for K/1st has been one of the best experience in her recent memory.
When she's not at Common Good, you can find Jamie traveling internationally with her husband Will and their family, reading a good book, or learning something new each day.

Welcome our Lead Cook, Alex! Alex started with Common Good as a volunteer cook. His love for cooking started by spending time with his mom in the kitchen. He's currently pursuing his Bachelor Degree in Nursing, which would make him a third-generation nurse behind his mother and grandmother.
Outside of cooking for Common Good, Alex loves gardening, hiking, and painting. You can also find him hosting dinner parties for his friends or taking road-trips across the county.

Meet Jake! He joined the staff in March2025 as our Path Program Manager! He comes to us having worked in youth and young adult ministries and nonprofits for the previous eight years. He’s passionate about learning from others, listening to their stories, celebrating the journeys of young adults; and proud to work in a community that makes space for everyone to be themselves.
Jake loves cooking, playing board games, taking naps with his two kids, and visiting local coffee shops with his wife when they have the chance.
